Flex assemblies are made to meet many demands across several industries. Whether it is coplanar or mezzanine, one primary concern is space.  The sleek design and 3D movements of flex assemblies save space and give much freedom for design engineers in designing novel compact applications.

Flex cable assemblies have an interposer terminated to a multi-layer impedance-controlled flexible circuit in a compact footprint. These interposers employ compression termination which allows a lower mated height of 1.22mm, offering superior performance. The polyimide flex material lowers signal loss and improves temperature stability compared to FR4.

With multilayer copper construction, it offers excellent SI performance, and optimizes routing and impedance. These flex cables are thinner and lighter than ordinary wired cables. Additionally, these are very cost effective too.
